Avoiding Inbox Overload

When signing up for samples, coupons, and updates from different retailers and brands your email inbox is going to go into overload. They are going to send you a ton of offers and promotions almost daily. There are ways to avoid this suffering inbox overload. Here a few tips!

• Set up a “dump email” account – this is an account that you use solely for freebies. This way your personal email account won’t be bombarded with offers from companies.
• If you have Yahoo there is a feature called Other In Box of OIB. I love my OIB! It list things like Groups- everything from my Yahoo groups goes here, Business, Shopping etc. So promo emails go to your shopping inbox so your regular inbox is available for important stuff
• Some companies give you the option to Opt-In to there email list. So if you don’t want it don’t Opt-In.

I hope this helps you maintain a certain level on control in your inbox and motivates you to sign up for those offers! Happy Shopping!
